EVANSTON, Ill., March 31, 2011 — Richard Day Research announced today a strategic partnership with Craig Scott of Craig Scott Consulting to become a senior research consultant in its healthcare group.
Drawing on his unique background in both the research and hospital environments, Scott will be responsible for design, analysis and consulting on projects for the company's pharmaceutical, device manufacture and hospital clients.
Scott's focus is qualitative and quantitative research, focusing on the identifying key leverage points in the decision making processes for pharmaceutical and device adoption at the hospital level.
Scott has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 36 years as a pharmacist, sales representative and market researcher. He has worked with pre- and post-launch products as well conducting pricing and payer research. As a sales representative he was responsible for achieving and maintaining formulary access for all multiple-hospital based products.
Scott is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and a registered pharmacist. He belongs to the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists and the Society of Hospital Medicine.
